Premium Sun-Dried Red Tea from Old Trees

Crafted from ancient tea trees and sun-dried instead of oven-dried.

The deep root systems of old trees enrich the leaves with minerals, while the high-altitude environment ensures pristine growing conditions and an optimal tea terroir.

What Makes This Tea Special?

Shaihong (晒红) is a unique category of sun-dried red tea, where the final drying step happens under natural sunlight rather than in an oven, like traditional Dian Hong. This process preserves more aroma, moisture, and enzymes, giving the tea its signature fragrant berry-like aroma and making it highly ageable—just like Sheng Pu-erh. Over time, its flavor will develop deeper honeyed notes, greater smoothness, and enhanced complexity.

Aroma

Honeyed, fragrant, with notes of berries and dried fruits.

Taste

Thick, buckwheat-honeyed, soft, and aromatic, with a juicy, dried-fruit and berry-like aftertaste. A bold tea with great aging potential.

Effect

Energizing, slightly intoxicating, and warming.
